Hi, I’m Thiago.

I’m a Brazilian building a life in rural Japan. This site follows what happens along the way: an old house to renovate, two German Shepherds to get outside with, cameras I keep using, and creative projects that rarely fit into one neat category.

I share what I try, what works, and what I’m still figuring out. Japan is where these stories happen; the projects and everyday decisions are what connect them.

Why rural Japan?

Living with two German Shepherds made space and a different daily rhythm matter. Moving away from the big cities gave us more room for walks and for the life we wanted to build. The countryside became more than a place to live: it shaped the routines, the house projects, and many of the stories I tell here.
